Hey Brian, I missed the live stream (middle of the night where I am) quick question — I'm thinking of updating to the new style Reverb lever, it looks much better than the original push button but in terms of function, do you like it, is it worth the cost? Thanks.

Legal esse vídeo de manutenção. Seu logotipo sempre está nos vídeos. Brian me desculpe estar escrevendo em português, meu inglês é péssimo.

you don't drink alcohol but down full fat coke and chicken nuggets like there is no tomorrow ha ha ha ha.

not noticed the swearing on your channel — no issues with my kids watching it.

given the amount of spam I get with my small channel you must get masses. interesting to see how much time you spend editing, has that changed since the start of your channel?

Lots of soap is the best, safest cleaner for most bike parts. When you specifically need a degreaser, basic isopropyl alcohol works. The specialty stuff is usually one of those plus a few fancy additives, e.g. to turn it into thicker foam.

Never use a tire lever to put on your tire!! Put the tire between your stomach and a wall or something and push it flat while putting it on. 😉

As much traveling you do and considering the price of that bike. Why don't you have a GPS tracker on the bike. We all know how things "Get Lost" at airports.

Definitely run Cat6/Cat6e depending on distance. There will be less crosstalk in 6e and price is negligible. You can get 6e 50'er at Menards (I have) and probably Home Depot. Terminators are higher spec and the cable has more twists for a cleaner connection. Once and done for the next 10 years. It only needs to be below the ground too, not below the freeze barrier (3') unless you run it through the air which leaves it open to birds/squirrels unless you protect it with conduit. If you're uploading or doing other stuff out in the Nugatorium, WAY better to have a wired connection. Don't short change it cause wireless streaming works but its definitely a compromise.

    Just my 2 cents 🙂

All those tire inserts are "suppose" to be closed cell so they shouldn't soak anything up BUT the sealant, just like with the tire inner will coat everything in the tire and when you have any insert in there is more surface area to coat so… yeah probably twice the sealant would be a good measure which means adding the tire insert weight + double the sealant weight which is all rotational= suck for uphills but the compromise is in the pinch flat protection. I'd rather run no insert, recommended sealant and higher pressures but to each their own.

You can make your alcohol spray bottle go further and dry a little less quickly if you mix 30-50% water in with it. Pro tip! 🙂

Nah, I work from home and have you on in the background for company. Don't worry, I do plenty of riding and trail building — road trips have taken a bit of a back seat with a young daughter and a wife who doesn't ride though…

If you have a Harbor Freight around you, you can get a small and medium clicker type torque wrenches there on the cheap. I have all three and they're basically identical to the $150 Proto Torque wrenches and you can get all three for 60-80 bucks. Nice to have 🙂 Also, it might be advisable to torque those down after you have the rear wheel on and the bike on the ground so you're not applying 80in/lbs to your dropper.
